Tikal, the Mayan Adventure
Hello u all...
this post is only to report my trip to Tikal National Park, Petén, Guatemala
It is the greates Mayan site that we are able to visit... there are some others, but they are not completely explored, and it would demand a 5-day trip, time that I dont have... :(
Well, we were 9 in the trip: me and Lilian from Brasil, Cesar from Colombia, Kemly from Costa Rica, Ahmid from Guatemala, Christa from Holland, Micka and Nina from Germany and Marta from Poland...
It was amazing, I had a wonderful time and would do it all over again...

This is a view of the Lake Flores, Petén... The city is an island on the middle of this lake. On this picture we are in a small village, having our typical breakfast... Mainly eggs, platanos, coffe and tortillas.
On some ruins, with Cesar and Marta... amazing place... It was a very large city, with temples and houses yet to be discovered buried on the jungle...
Looks the Temple V... very very big... I'm attempting to climb it, but I couldnt make it to the top... some vertigo problems... in the detail, Kemly from CR
Me and Cesar, we are on the top of a temple, looking straight to another one... WONDERFUL!!!
Well, I really recommend it... One of the TOP 3 places in Guatemala...
That's it...
Still miss Brazil...
